The activities or functions do all managers perform regularly are Planning, Organizing, Staffing, Leading and Controlling. These functions are the core for the success of any organization and they apply to all the four levels of management. Though every function has a role to play at the various level, but by and large it’s the planning which mostly goes with the top-level, Organizing and staffing at the middle level, and leading and controlling at the low level of management.
