Material requirement planning (MRP) is the planning of all the material required for production which is generally done by software system which maintains all the data regarding material required and the status of the inventory. Management resource planning (MRPII) is the planning of all the resources such as staff and financial requirements which are required for the process of manufacturing. Both MRP and MRPII together form the enterprise resource planning which is the most crucial system for any organisation which manages all the information right from from cash flow to profits with the help of database. It provides integrated information of the organisation with the help of softare and technology.
