Training has been an integral part of organizations today and because of this high level of competition organizations need to be very much sensitive in the process of training and development provided. I believe that due to the advancement in technology there has been a lot of advancements in the training methods too and the concept of blended learning is a major activity that has been popular which consists of both conventional training methodologies along with e learning and technology assisted learning. Training is now directly alligned with the work that the employees need to do so that the process of training is appropriate and as per the needs and requirements as well.

Human resource development is another aspect which has exhibited various advantages and benefits for the unit and the organization. The Advent of tecchnology is a major advancement where even ERPs are used for the same like SAP, Oracle PEOPLESOFT and concepts or approaches like globalization, talent management, social learning has helped the organization through various concepts.
