How do you find the Random Numbers on the table of 2-Digit Random Numbers?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

To find random numbers on the table of a 2-digit random number close your eyes and randomly point to a spot on the chart/table.

Suppose that you point to row 10 and column 2. The number as per the table is 96372. Since we are using 2 digits we will get the result as 96. The next random number will be the next 2 digits of 96372 i.e. 37.

Now look at row 10 column 3. The number is 50277. From 96372 we have got 2 left. So the next random 2 digit number will be 25 (2 from 96372 and 5 from 50277). The next random number will be 02 and then 77.

This process will go on and you will keep moving to the next column.

#5. You can find 20 RANDOM NUMBERS in a Table or you can generate them with software like Excel. The Excel functions are “RAND” and “RANDBETWEEN”. With “Randbetween” you simply input how many numbers you want, the number of digits you want in your random number and the range of values you want those numbers to fall between. For example you may want twenty, 2-digit numbers that fall between 00 and 100 (like “34”). TWO CONSIDERATIONS: (1) You must systematically...
