Answer #1

Face-to-face communication is very crucial to successful communication in the workplace. In fact, its one of the core reasons to have a successful interpersonal communication in the workplace. Be it in any situation, whether to motivate anyone or solving any conflict or for any important decision, face-to-face communication always plays a major role. Though I don’t think there are technologies of communication which can be an adequate substitute for effective interpersonal communication, still there are few technologies which can be used as alternatives, even if they won’t create the same impact as face-to-face communication. These technologies include hangout, Skype, GoToMeeting etc.
