Discuss several disadvantages of linear programming; clearly explain the reasons for your choices.

Linear programming undoubtedly solved many issues but has it's own disadvantages which are serious to overlook. Representing a whole project in mathematical form is not easy and we cannot assume all the characters. Giving values to all the variables is also a tough task and is nearly impossible to get complete accuracy. It is very difficult to determine social and financial issues in the mathematical form. These are the main factors which are needed to get accurate results and these factors are lacking in the case of linear programming. Hence they need to be considered as disadvantages.
