A DSS is one kind of computerized information system where the system supports the organization in decision making process.The system analyze data and solve problems in the most effecient way which helps the organisation to make better decisions. The problems where a huge amount of information is included the DSs helps managers to summarise the data and produce a comprehensive information out of it. For example, if the company has to predict the revenue that will be generated based on the changes in the market trend it will include a lot of information and calculation which cannot be performed by hand. In that case the DSS helps the organization by considering all the variables and producing the possible alnernative outcomes.
