Answer #1

A paid sick leave policy is a policy that offers time off for illness and certain relatable issues where as a paid time off (PTO) policy bundles various types of leaves such as vacation, sick, and personal leave, etc. into a single bank that employees can use for any purpose.

PTO can be applied without the need for doctor's notes or intrusive personal questions. It can be used for any purpose like vacation, illness recovery, etc. Employer doesn't ask any questions regarding the reason behind the leave, they just want that the time off period should not extend their limits. This is the reason that PTO are preferred over sick leave.

The answer is correct please give a thumbs up.
