Homework Answers

Answer #1

If :

  1. Quality and Price carry the same weight
  2. If each of them carry double the weight of delivery reliability
  3. Sum total of 3 weights are 100 ( or 1 when each weight is calculated as fraction )

Then :

Price = 0.4

Quality = 0.4

Delivery reliability = 0.2

Given are the following ratings of the supplier :

Quality rating = 40

Price rating = 90

Delivery reliability = 75

Therefore ,

Weighted total score of supplier

= 0.4 x 40 + 0.4 x 90 + 0.2 x 75

= 16 + 36 + 15

= 67

THE SUPPLIER WILL SCORE 67 AS WEIGHTED TOTAL
