Answer #1

Testing a product prior to launch provides the company with a number of benefits, first of all, it allows the company to be able to test their marketability and assumptions surrounding the project. This not only enables us to create better strategy, but, also allows us to understand the why and what of the market, considering the fact that we can get unsolicited feedback based on the use of our product can allow us to not only work on the product design but, also implement strategies which enable us, as a company to be able to cater the design to the needs and use of the customer. Lastly, it allows us to test the products for any defects before finally shipping the project for sales purpose.

For example, in the case of a motorcycle, before shipping the final assembled product, they test the design using a dry run on static machines in order to make sure the entire implementation works.

In the gaming industry, before shipping a video game title, testers keep on testing the implementation of the game up until the last point for quality, design processes, bugs and playability before the title is finally decided to be free of defects and other accurate checks are performed.
