Background:

• Main reason for accidents is drive sleep / drowsiness due to long trips.
• Project is to have a device that wakeups drive.
• We want to take people view on this project.

This is a project to have a device that helps drives to wake-up, so that drivers are in good awareness and they can full focus on the vehicle and avoid any accident in their journey.

We want to design the research on this subject in below manner as

3.1. Design Research: use the person and the customer journey: In our research, we want to study the subject in detail along with suitable data and information. We want to have scenarios and want to observe the behavior of the drivers and then we want explore the improvements with the wake up device. We want to have a test plan in such a way that drivers will be driving the vehicle and we will be having a device that will be waking-up the driver on regular intervals so that driver do not feel sleep and he is awake for the drive of the vehicle. Then we want to see the number of accidents in the region. This will help to get sufficient information for the projet we can review the impacts of the wakeup device on the trend of accidents.

3.2 Expert interviews: We want to identify key expert on this subject with the help of the team and sponsor of the project. The list of experts could be able to provide their expert view on this project. The list of expert is identified and we have planned interviews with the experts so that we can get the desired inputs from them for the subject. The interviews are organized with the experts and their inputs are captured for project of usage of wake up device for drivers and their expected benefits in avoiding the accidents. The data are captured and analyzed.

3.3. Trend analysis statistics: We can analyze the trend of such accidents in the region. We want to investigate the reasons for the accidents in the region. The data are captured and analysis is performed for the trend. The statistical analysis will be helpful in advising the impact of the wake up units in the accidents trend in the region. The trend of accident data is helpful in analysis and investigation for the inputs of wake up device for the drivers.   

So based on the research, scenario analysis, data capturing, expert interviews and analysis of their inputs, then the trend analysis and statistical analysis on the subject, we can get the good understanding on the subject usage of driver wakeup device will be helpful for reducing the accidents. Thus it is recommended to introduce driver wake up device to reduce / avoid accidents.
