Answer - Managers are the pillars of any business as they take strategic or functional decisions to drive business towards achieving it's goals. Managers execute different roles at various levels of the organization hierarchy. For instance, floor managers generally are at the lowest level of management hierarchy and they supervise functional and operational practices on floor. Strategic managers at the other end of the hierarchy are responsible for taking strategic decisions for the organization and it's people. All these decisions are taken by scanning the overall strength and weakness of the concerned situation and then think and devise the best decision to solve the concern at the best interest of the organization. The type of leadership also has an important impact on the organization culture. While transformational leaders pave the way for individual and organizations growth, autocratic leaders prefer to order and command people for their tasks. So in summary managers and leaders are critical point in determining an organizations overall performance.
