If you are considering closing a warehouse and opening a new one, what people in the organization might be impacted and how might they react to the project? Select two (2) functional groups within the organization and explain why they would be impacted.

The two functional groups within the organization that would be impacted by closing and opening a new warehouse are logistics and the inventory departments. These two departments will have to be associated with the warehousing facility. The logistics department will have to make changes to their routes and inform the suppliers. The inventory department will have to relocate the employees to the new warehouse and or hire the new employees who are local to that area where the new warehouse if opened. There will be many other functional groups as well but these two will be impacted the most.
