The example of management function as they pertain to hospitality industry are:-

1. Planning

This is the phase where the goals for the direction of all the teams with regards to the requirement of the services by the hospitality comes to play.

2. Organizing

This requires delegating the tasks, division of the individuals into groups, creating schedules, shifts and essentially allocating the resources to the department as necessary.

3. Leading

Involves the role of the leader being performed to allow the workers to be motivated by their work in itself and also, proper management techniques be utilized in order to achieve synergy between all the processes.

4. Controlling

Involves controlling the employee’s actions, monitoring their performance and the results that are caused by the process and essentially making corrections to any problem areas.
