Some of the current issues in airport operations are:
- Security: Security of the staffs and flyers at
the airport is one of the biggest issues due to the threat of
terrorism.
- Environmental Issues: With an airport around,
there can be issues related to environment like noise, air and
water pollution.
- Cargo Problems: There are few problems related
to air cargo such as inflation, multilateral cargo agreements, fuel
policy, cargo alliances and hazardous cargo.
- Air Traffic: The other major issue is Air
Traffic, because of rapid increase. The issue is specially larger
on international and other larger airports.
