There are six stages in the life cycle of quality initiative,
they are
- Adoption - when a new quality initiative is introduced and
implemented.
- Regeneration - the new quality initiative is integrated with an
existing initiative to add value.
- Energizing - an existing initiative is remodelled and more
resources are added to it.
- Maturation - when the quality initiative results and process
are aligned to the main process and deployed across processes.
- Stagnation - the stage where the rewards and returns of
initiative decline or stagnate.
- DEcline/Termination - in this stage the benefits drop and
decline, and it needs to be stopped and a new has to be
adopted.
