Formulation, Implementation and the Results are the three major stratgic audit. components. A strategy audit focuses on these key elements of these components as well as on the specific interrelationships among all the three major elements.

Formulation comprises of identfying the objectives of stratgies, assumptions,various policies and regulations to be associated with it. The implementation is on the design of strategy and execution of it which consider the organisation, people,culture, style etc. The result phase actually evalute the stratgies about the success and failure, gaps etc.
