How are direct-mail sales messages and e-mail sales messages similar, and how are they different

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Both direct-mail sales messages and e-mail sales message are alike because they both are to gain the receivers interest in the product they are promoting. They are both put together in a timely matter and are done to perfection. They differ because with e-mails they include testimonies about customers who have tried a product or company explaining how well the outcome was. Also, they differ because emails are sent strictly to certain people, the list of people they send the email to is put together after a period of time and each person is specifically chosen. With direct-mail letters they are mainly there to gain the potential customer's attention and motivate interest. They are also sent out randomly at times instead of to certain individuals.
