Should the role of contract manager be rolled into that of a project manager? Examples? How are their roles different?
Yes, I believe that the role of contract manager should be rolled into that of a project manager because if we look at the job description of a contract manager we will be assured that the contract manager takes the responsibility of a project right from its start and the responsibility is to ensure that the project is completed within the stipulated time and also within the planned budget that is assigned and hence we can understand that the role of the project manager is somewhat equivalent and along with that the project manager needs to manage and control they employees and monitor that the project is compliant with the organizational goals. So I believe that the role can be rolled into as the responsibilities are somewhat similar and it is better to have one individual maintaining the affairs which will ensure that there is no conflict during the project execution.
