Material requirement planning is a computer based inventory management system designed to assist production manager in scheduling and placing the order for items dependent demand. Material requirement plan is the process of developing detailed production plan. MRP give the detailed information about the right quality, right parts, correct timing of production , raw material and the components. the input of MRP are 1. master production schedule 2. bill of material 3. the inventory record. the output of MRP are as follows-----1. Full MRP report 2. MRP action report.
