Although B-MED employees were verbally scolded by Samuel, they were economically motivated by the bonuses and rewards they received. This traditional management organization, accompanied by Samuel, as well as coercion (rewards and penalties) is good for a small company, but new employees from MM Healthcare are not happy with this traditional environment. MM Healthcare has a modern structure that gives employees a sense of ownership and control that would not have happened in B-MED if all decisions had been made by Samuels.
