There are four development strategies First is Market penetration strategy in which company sells its existing product to existing market.Second strategy is Product development strategy in which company create new product for its existing market. Third is market development strategy in which company create new market for its existing product and fourth is diversification strategy in which company develope new products for new market.

In this context, Management of Proton Holdings Bhd can adopt two growth strategies- product development and market development strategy.

Under product development strategy, Proton Holdings Bhd created a new premium SUV by called Proton X70.Now company can grow its business by selling this SUV to its current customers.

for example- Company can sell this SUV in malaysian market for its existing malaysian customers.

When the market demand for its new suv is saturated in Malaysian market then company can use market development strategy.

for example- Company see that The SUV 's demand is at peak in malaysia and now it needs to find new opportunity to grow sale of this SUV then The management will decide to sell this SUV in foreign market like India, US etc.

The growth strategy for Management of Petnet will be-

Market development strategy. Under this strategy, Petnet management can grow its business by finding new market for its smartfeeder application. Under this strategy, Management can find new foreign country where there is huge potential for its growth like UK, Australia.

For example- Petnet can license its application to UK and Australia business seller at commission or fee. This way Company will enter into new market and earn more fees which it can invest in other product or business.
