Answer #1

An example of the same is as follows:

The research wing of an FMCG giant is being served by many consulting companies on different projects. Consulting Co. 1 was working on a certain project where it was taking care of all the functionalities of the project- from client handling, POC generation to UAT and handover. One day The FMCG giant, pulled in another Consulting Co. 2 to preside over Co. 1's work to hasten the project delivery. In this, certain responsibilties of Co. 1 such as client handling was given to Co. 2. This was the choice that the FMCG giant made. Trade-off included, lowered morale of Co. 1 employees, reduced authority of Co. 1 employees. Consequences included- No accountability of project delay and error in the product by Co.1, increased attrition from Co.1, reduced business connection with the FMCG giant.
