Answer #1

Answer:
The priest is a medium between God and people in the Jewish system. Jesus is the great high priest because he is the direct link between human and almighty God. According to Christian believe he sacrificed his life for the sins of humans. Jesus sacrificed his life for all instead of yearly or monthly atonement. Since he sacrificed his life for his people, hence we don't have to offer sacrifice to the other priests.

According to Christianity, Jesus is the son of God that is why he is immortal, unlike other moral priests. That is why he is the greater high priest for believers.

He is a living link between God and people. Since God cannot perceive or imagine the unimaginable infinite God because he is omnipresent and omnipotent. that is why for Christians Jesus is the living representation of God.
Jesus is the son of god and greatest high priest therefore he is best to mediate with God, unlike any other ordinary priest.
