You have just completed your project WBS and you have five levels of detail that you now need to break into your activities. One of your team members asks why is it so important for you guys to spend more time on activities by putting them in order. How do you respond?

In a project there are various other aspects other than just execution, because execution is that phase of the project which will ensure that whatever has been planned is practically implemented and hence the planning and aligning the activities accordingly is the most important step because based on that the success of the project depends. If there is a miss or gap in planning itself, then the project cannot be expected to be successful at any cost, hence such measures are precautions are taken while aligning the same and making the process better. Planning activities hence require more effort and efficiency for the overall betterment of the project and its success.
