Answer #1

There can be many strategies that can be used by the HR to minimize the ill effect of unprecedented Covid that the entire world is fighting against:

  • Restructuring is the best way wherein every department can be analysed deeply to understand from which department which all employees can be moved so that there is balance in every department. Big advantage is that new employees might not be required to be hired and also cost can be saved but this is a short term solution and not a long term.
  • Recruitment strategies can be altered wherein specific skill employee can be hired so that only the affected department can be sorted but the issue is that the employee would not be able to grow and this would affect the company after couple of years.
  • Outsourcing is also a viable option wherein a third party can be sued to fulfil the employee strength requirement and this has a major advantage in cost saving and quickly the departments can be filled in but the disadvantage is that they may not be that skilled.
