Does the intergenerational nature of Medicare weaken the value of the program to the current generation,

Homework Answers

Answer #1

No, I do not believe that the intergenerational nature of Medicare which implies that the current workers are paying for the retired weaken the value of the program to the current generation because this is the concept and the current generation when they retired will get the benefits so we should not considered that this will help the current generation at present because that is not the case anyway and the current generation needs to think about their future as well which will be taken care by the future generation who will be working. I believe that this nature of Medicare is actually quite logical and fruitful for the individuals seeking the same.
