Organisation behavior of employees is science. The systematic beghavior odf individual behavior is a science. the application behavioral knowledge is not exact science lie physics or chemistry. It cannot provide the exact answer to all organisational problems.

The exact pridiction of behavior of employees in organisation is not possible. it is possible to predict the relationship between the variables on a broad scale.

The scientific method has provided the systematised body of knowledge to be learnt by prospective and the working Managers. That is why the old saying that "Managers are born"has to be rejected in favor of " Managers are Made".Since, OB has emerged as a science , people are trained to be Managers and productive.

Scientic Management brings Taylor to our Memory. Taylor claimed that the selection of right people for right job, training them , placing them too their best suited job and remunerating them sufficiently gives the prosperity to the organisation.
