The Trans Mountain pipeline system (TMPL) is the only pipeline system in North America that transports both crude oil and refined products to the west coast.  Assume that you are a senior Executive with Kinder Morgan and are applying the Planning Tools. Recommendation would be to perform thorough investigation of rules and regulations in the North America and accordingly plan and schedule the activities related to pipeline project.
Clearly said the goal for each team of the project and create a work breakdown structure for every member of the project. This would help in getting the clarity of task associated with each team and helping avoiding the delays related to project. Create an inter relationship diagram and prioritisation matrix. interrelationship diagram would help in analysing the cost and effect relationship and the factors involved in complex problem. Prioritisation matrix would help in time management and cost benefit analysis which would help in project planning activities.
