APS (Advanced Planning and Scheduling) systems seek to optimize schedules across multiple facilities. What kind of difficulties would a planner or scheduler have without a system like this?

APS has the capacity to segregate and schedule every department in an order and there will be no problems int he plan given but if we do not have this system it will be very difficult to plan for all the facilities and even deparments of each facility. All the work gets mixed up and the plan will be with many errors as it is very difficult to customise for each and every unit . Hence the work gets complicated. These difficulties are overcome only this system.
