Answer #1

Answer:
Strike notice refers to the document presented by an analogous worker body or trade union members to negotiator or employer expressing an intent to commit a future upcoming action of strike.

The strike notice mainly contains:

  • overview of conditions and grievances.
  • the statement to state that negotiations between employees and employers were not successful.
  • intended duration and time for a strike.
  • advice to be ready for facing the consequences of the strike and return to the resolution and negotiation table as soon as possible.

The strike notice is legally needed of unions and public sector workers within a  certain period e.g 10 days before the commencement of the intended strike action.

For example, Section 8(g) makes it unlawful for labor unions to involve in the strike, refusal of work, or picketing at any health care institute without giving minimum  10 days written notice to institute and federal mediation and conciliation service.
