From your experience regarding recruitment and retention, communicate how you would explain and consult with a manager regarding a current position.
Recruitment and selection are the most critical processes of Human Resource management. Recruitment is a process to advertise about a job opening, and attract the candidates to fill up the position. It is a positive process because it invited the candidates. On the flip side, the selection process is the negative process because it eliminates the non-deserving candidates from the candidates' pool. Regarding the current position, the manager should ask the company to advertise the current opening. The advertisement will also include the candidates' requirements and eligibility criteria as the candidates will then approach the HR manager for the information about the position. The manager should then conduct screening and eliminate the candidates who do not fulfill the criteria. The manager should then conduct tests and interviews to select the best candidate for the position. After the successful selection, the manager should begin with the employees' orientation to know about the enterprise and its functioning. Later, the manager will observe the employee's tasks to deduce whether the employee is compatible with the firm. The next step is the retention of the employees. The manner should provide development, and training opportunities to enhance the individual growth, and the company growth. Hence, the recruitment and retention processes are essential for the production processes. It is because the workforce differs from one company from the other. The profits also depend on the productivity of labor.
