How do you manage information overload during the orientation process? What are the resource costs of doing that?

After the recruitment of employees, they need to go through a formal orientation process which helps the employees to understand the function and operation of the organization and also the various details of the organization as well. I believe that there is a lot of information that is provided to the employees and remembering such information may not be possible for the employees as well, hence they need to make sure that the overload of information needs to be managed and make sure that the information is not missed as well.
