Answer a) Checking previous school records and interviewing the student helps in evaluating his strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.

Answer b) To check learning during the programme, quizes can be conducted. Exit slips could also be used. Exit slips are small pieces of paper on which student writes answer to a question.

Answer c) Summative assessment activites such as final projects, essays can be used in evaluating their performance and understanding level.

Interviewing is the best diagnostic assessment method to record learners individual goals and learning preferences.
