What does the bible say about management of what God has entrusted us with? Are the things we have ours to do with as we choose or do we have a responsibility to God?

According to Bill Peel four principles compile the biblical stewarship which are principle of ownership, responsibility, accountability and reward. In the question the principle of reponsibility is explained. This principle says that we are mere stewards to God and have been given the responsibility to manage that belongs to him. He has entrusted and given us responsibility to manage everything he has given us with care development and enjoyment. as he owns all of it and we as stewards should know to manage all that is his with responsibility as per his desires and purposes.

According to this principle all the things we have are not ours. Everything belongs to the God and and how it is treated or what is to be done with it is our responsibility. Thus we cannot do as we choose and have a responsibility to do everything as everything belongs to God and nothing is ours.
