Yes, even I agree to this claim and that too strongly because technology has reduce the distance to such an extent that team members working in different countries can collaborate their ideas and work for the betterment of the project. There are a lot of instances where teams are distributed in various parts of the world and are still doing good in achieving their organizational or team objectives. For example I have been working in the Information Solutions department of an Insurance company based in Milwaukee, the other team who are looking into the same project is a third part vendor and their team is located in a city in India and we are still doing good with they help of video conference and other means of communication. So it can be stated that technology has made it quite evident that the collocation of team members is no longer important at present.
