The primary difference between a thesis and a report is that thesis first states a proposition and then tries to validate it. Report is just fact-finding and analysis of the chosen subject. Individuals, who are aiming for a Master’s Degree, usually conduct thesis, while any employee of the company can develop a company report. Also a point of difference lays in the fact that thesis has page limitation, which is also known as dissertation, while a company report may have no limitations on the length of the study.
