Challenges faced in organizational behavior -
i) Diversity at work -
There is an increase in diversity in the workplace such as different cultural backgrounds and races, age gaps, sexual orientation, etc. It is a huge challenge for the managers to manage the diversified workplace so that it would positively impact an organization and protect its valuable employees.
ii) Ethical behavior -
Different organizations have different policies that would facilitate ethical behavior within an organization. It is a huge challenge for the managers to make policies that would ensure that employees will put organizational interest first than their own personal interests.
iii) Technology and innovation -
IT plays a great role in workplace communication which determines which way people should behave in an organization. Although technology helps in the spreading of knowledge managers find it difficult to seek ways to promote organizational communication.
iv) Improve skills -
Until and unless the employees are equipped to possess the required skills so to adapt the changes, the targetted goals can't be achieved. And these skills can be enhanced with proper training and development programs.
v) Total quality management (TQM) -
It aims to focus intensely on the customers and shows concern for continuous improvement. It also aims to improve the quality of the organization. Employees are given empowerment so that they could take decisions on their own.
