In order to characterize strategies the following points must be
considered-
1. Strategies are always measurable. So it becomes very important
to have a specific goal while formulating a strategy and always
measure them to the certainty that there are successful or
not.
2. Strategies are actionable, they are not dependent on forces
which cannot be controlled. So they must be a proper tactic while
forming a strategy.
3. Strategies are very clear and the employees should understand
exactly what the organization strategy is in order to be
successful.
4. Strategies do not change much and as the business grows it is
important to know what will work and what will not. Once you know
what works that tactics must be applied and be consistent with the
strategy.
5. Strategy always include a proper business plan and it is not
just an tactical plan for achieving every strategic goal. For
example if you want to increase the sales by 100% your plan should
include everything from investing in better lead generation methods
and retaining employees to hire new ones.
Some examples of business to business marketing digital strategies
would be that the company which wants to promote its product to
business clients can go for Search Engine Optimization. In this
strategy the business which is looking for a particular service can
simply Google that particular product and the company which wants
to sell its product to a business house, will have its website
listed on the top of the search engine but this search result will
be in organic in nature. That is the website will although be
listed on the top page but it will come with written that it is
advertisement, so that people can differentiate between paid and
non paid advertisement.
