Personalities are being defined as a combination of personalities or set of behaviour or cognition or the emotional patter that constitutes together in a person. Personalities are being affected by biological or external factors and this is the reason why every individual is different. Now traits of a person are being affected by the institution which can be stated as the external factor. Let's start with educational instituters. Students of different institutes have a different thought process and outlook, for example, a convent going student and a student going to the Anganwadi centres, there is a big personality difference. Likewise, if we talk about army personalities they have a different personality and this is because of the institution they belong to.

Real-life examples are when people move outside his state to another suppose for higher studies he get exposure to learn new things gain knowledge which overall develops his personality. The view to look at an object or the viewpoint of a person changes. The place where we live in has a high effect on the type of person one develop. Can a person compare two children one coming from slum other from high tech city. The difference can be seen or ascertained easily. Another example is of spiritual gurus. The people who believe in divine and spirituality their personality is very different from the common man. Those people have their own way of living, thinking, analysing and behaving. I have hardly seen a spiritual guru who has shown ager or aggression and this is the fact they are calm personality. This happens because they completely follow different institutions.

Hence we can say institutions do impact the kind of personality we are.
