Answer - Organizations take up social responsibility for various reasons like building a good brand image, but one of the main reasons organizations these days are increasingly considering social responsibility is to maintain a sustainable business. Socially responsible companies take up environment-friendly operations policies promoting the green business policy and using renewable sources or recyclable materials as much as possible. Besides waste treatment is also taken seriously to avoid chemical hazards. Apart from this, companies organize various charitable events and support social causes to help mankind and build a good image of being socially concerned organization among the consumers. In all these ways, organizations exercise social responsibility.
