Answer::

Given Observations = 20,3,29,9,47,20,26,56,41,7,14,52

Step 1: Arrange the numbers in ascending order

Observations = 3, 7, 9, 14, 20, 20, 26, 29, 41, 47, 52, 56

Step 2: TO CALCULATE MEAN

Sum of observations = 3 + 7 +9 + 14 + 20 + 20 + 26 + 29 + 41 + 47 + 52 + 56

Sum of Observations = 324

Number of Observations (N) = 12

Mean = Sum of Observations / Number of Observations

Mean = 324/12

Mean = 27

Step 3: To CALCULATE MEDIAN

Median for even Observations = Average of (N/2) and [(N/2) +1] term

Here, N = 12

Median = Average of 6th and 7th term

Median = (20 + 26)/2

Median = 23

Step 4: TO CALCULATE MODE

Mode is that observation which occurs the maximum number of times.

Mode = 20
