5s example and visual management of lean six sigma tools: (example from messy house)

5S is a fundamental first step for any manufacturing company. they are as with examples are as follows:

SORT: Seperate out all that is uneeded and eliminate it

example: clearly distinguish needed items from uneeded items and eliminate the latter

in messy house football is needed items and he didn't need of shuttle cork so put it in latter

SET: everything has a place

example: Keep needed items in the correct place to allow for easy retrieval

In messy house he put all his football related items (like boots, jersy, etc..) in a predefined area for the easy retrieval.

SHINE: clean everything, make the workplace spotless

example: keep the work place swept and clean

In messi house his work place is the lown where he is practicing football. he always tried tomake there swept and clean.

STANDADIZE: Make cleaning and checking the routine

example: Set procedures and follow the first 3S s

In messi house as like we mentioned he follow all the above 3S s and ake it as his routine and also make proper follow ups.

SUSTAIN: Sustain the previous 4 steps and improve continually on them

example: Make a habit of maintaing established procedures.

In messi house he acquire self descipline throug the habit of repeating the 4 previous steps for his good career.
