Restaurant has always enjoyed a 15% market share of restaurants in its particular group. It presently maintains two locations A & B. Due to the recent Corona virus pandemic its has had to close its doors. Restaurant has a limited take-out menu at location A and none at location B. Take-out sales at location A constitute 35% of A's revenue. Hoping not to layoff personnel management would like to transfer cooks from B to A to improve upon its sales in A for takeout. These cooks would have to trained but that should not be too difficult. Management is also considering reopening B with a takeout service. After the cooks have been trained they would return to B. Service employees could also be returned to B. Having never sold takeout at B management is skeptical. Management is not sure when the pandemic will end. Present predictions project 18 -24 months. Management if it is economically worth the effort for 24 months. What do you advise based on your SWOT analysis?
