Correct answer is A & B

As the doctrine of estoppel prevent injustice with the person who got cheated by the second person who make fake promise or by his/her unethical deeds and intension to make the estoppe believe that the things and correct to act on it.

Let's understand with an example: suppose you sold your house form xxxxx amount and you asked the owner to give six month time so that you can buy or build a new house.at that time the owners promised you. Soon after one month, he asked you to leave the house but you can't. The owner will bring legal notice to you and make you stand infront of the court as you don't have any legal written Statement. in this case doctrine of estoppel defines that the promise which was mede earlier cannot be withdrawn and thus it helps the individual and court must take the action bt taking account the promise which was made by the owner earlier and thus decisions to be equitable.
