Homework Answers

Answer #1

In the recent times during the Covid-19 the advertisement which I think generated positivity around the world was of Lifebuoy soap. This advertisement was unique because the company made an advertisement in which it clearly stated that in order to prevent the spread of covid-19 regularly wash your hands with any soap rather than specifying only lifebuoy soap. This Advertisement shows the concern for society that Lifebuoy so has.
Yes I believe that this advertisement seems to Hofstedes classification because according to psychologist Gerry Hofstedes if any company engages in global marketing, the promotional efforts have to be applied to consumer in different cultures and this advertisement which I talked about earlier of Lifebuoy soap, had an universal approach and it addresses to all the people in different cultures around the world. This advertisement showed the concern of Lifebuoy soap towards all the people in the world and had an very emotional appeal towards the concerns for people.
