Answer #1

1. The term Power means to command. When an individual is given certain power or the individual holds power than he or she is in fiduciary position to influence or manipulate others. Having power either provoke the person to misuse it or allow proper decision with respect to the objectives. Hence it is the ability to do certain things and also to influence others to do it. Therefore, in the transaction or events if somebody has manipulated someone then they have power to influence others.

2. Issue Focus Conflicts: The term conflicts mean disagreement on something and where the disagreements are over certain issues than it is termed as Issue focus conflict. When the conflict is related to issues like interests, resources, proposals or ideas. Here the focus is not on people or their emotions instead it is on general issues and circumstances around those people. Therefore, these are the rational negotiations for any decision-making process.

3. The four stages of Creative Problem Solving are

  • Preparation: In this stage the brain is preparing itself to collect the various information from all the possible sources. The information is raw but in such a way that brain at later stage can create structured answer for the solution. This include thinking in depth or observing the outside environment related to resources, data, or any expertise.
  • Incubation: In this stage you try to connect the information so collected and how can it help to solve. The minds basically rainstorm some ideas by the information gathered in stage one. Thinking the relation between the information and solution will help to deliver the information to sub conscious mind which helps to demonstrate ideas in a single click. This also include merging of different different ideas together.
  • Illumination: In this stage you hypothetically start solving the problems with all the ideas you generated. As in incubation stage you have taken deep knowledge and thoughts about the problem and idea than suddenly you start illusions about the solution and in most cases the solution is present itself.
  • Verification: In this stage using critical thinking approach you write down in a systematic way the solution. By writing you will cover the loopholes and will be in a better position to judge. Hence once everything is formatted and documented then it is ready to circulate to others.
