Question i). Gender or Racial inequality has been receiving a great level of resistance from the society and the employee groups. This has become one of the contentious issues which every organization wants to solve. Businesses need to take a proactive role in solving these issues related to gender and racial equality. Organizations need to build a policy to solve this issue while making recruitment decisions. Such issues can be solved through policy interventions only. The government needs to play the role of the regulator and should regulate the hiring of the companies without any racial or gender inequality and should be regulated through an act. Investors need to act as facilitators and the role of active governance to implement the policy in the organization. Consumers and NGOs need to play the role of an active member of the society which supports the organizations which promotes the gender equality and no racial discrimination.

Question ii) The potential obstacle and constraints in implementing such changes are the internal resistance and bringing in a suitable cultural change to the organization to become a model organization to promote gender equality and no to racial discrimination. The internal resistance can be brought down by the help of counseling, training, and awareness. Another issue would to find the suitable candidate for the position and also make sure that there are no gender inequality or racial discrimination. The problem of finding the right talent can be solved by having a larger talent pool and going for a better mix while making the hiring decision. A larger talent pool will help in creating a balance between the profile suitability and gender equality.
