Answer #1

A) Collective bargaining is a tool or process by which the working people or the unions of employees negotiate and mediate with the employers regarding their pay rate, salaries, incentives, and development. It is a prominent way to solve workplace problems between the employer and the employee. The employees demand better pay and benefits at the workplace. Every year, hundreds and thousands of employees negotiate and renegotiate with the employers in terms of the bargained contracts. For instance, a labor union is the best way to force the employers to meet the needs of the employees and workers. In countries like the United States, the collective bargaining process occurs between the unions and the company's management. It is efficient because the workers can directly say their issues and concerns to the concerned authorities. It might also include labor strikes and protests by the employees.

B) Collective bargaining acts as an antidote to the wage decline and inequality that the employees and workers suffer. In many companies, the employers and managers pay a much lesser amount to the workers than they deserve. It increases the wages of low paid workers to a certain level so that the white-collar employees do not discriminate against them based on their salary. Many black people face racism issues, and consequently, low wages issues in countries. The process and tool enables to eliminate the discrimination. The tool also bridges the gap between the middle age people and the youth and their wages.
