We live in a dynamic world that needs leadership. Here are my definitions of appropriate practices of leadership that I have had experience with and practice. Motivation and commitment are an important factor to me that a leader needs to possess in order to lead an example to others. If you look not interested in your job or your characteristics at work look negative others will simply ignore you. Motivating individuals, it is the most fundamental element of effective leadership (Warrick, 2016). Focusing is another important factor when a leader can clearly distinguish between the core and non-core issues. Transparency and being fair is when a leader needs to walk the talk and be fair in treatment towards all members. Vision is needed and needs to be adaptable to views of other members in the team who are equally or even more learned at times, so the vision is clear and everyone on the same page with the business model. Everyone has questions and wonders who they are and how did they make it to the top. Personal characteristics and factors of leaders are responsible for their current status. Everyone has personal stories and are rooted in each culture or family history (Khan & Shahed, 2018). The current leader I chose is Steve Jobs. I have done several papers on this leader in my past classes this year. He was an innovator and had vision of all the products him and Apple visualized. He had a passion for new and extremely efficient products reflecting all the products created by Apple. Steve was a persuasive leader and his innovative business strategies were the key to his business success (Carrol, 2013). Steve Jobs is a performing artist making his first presentation introducing the Apple computer to the general public. Steve Jobs is a great example of my personal definition showing leadership choreographing that create memorable dance performances with specific goals in mind to achieve goals. Also, him being an experimenter. I never give up on resolutions to problems, innovating new methods, etc. I like to experiment different ideas and decision making to reach my goal.

This post is about leadership and different attributes that a leaderust possess in order to be a successful leader. I agree with the author that a leader must possess qualities such as motivation, passion, vision, commitment, focus, transparency etc in order to make the team memberore aligned to the organizational goals as well as maximise their own performance as well and formulate a team of motivated individuals. Like the example of Steve Jobs provided in the post, who was willing to innovate and take risks, a leader must possess these attributes and experiment different ideas in order to succeed as a leader and also encourage his team members.
